ARTICLE I NAME
This organization shall be known as Phoenix Feline Fanciers.
ARTICLE II AFFILIATION
This organization shall be affiliated with The
Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc.
ARTICLE III OBJECTS
1. To encourage the breeding of pedigree cats to the Cat Fanciers' (CFA)
Association, Inc. standards
2. To hold shows and promote interests in, and knowledge of, cats through
education.
3. To cultivate friendship and common interests among the members.
4. To promote the welfare of all cats.
ARTICLE IV MEMBERSHIP
Persons of high ethics and good character, interested in the objectives of
the club shall be considered for membership.
ARTICLE V OFFICERS
The Officers shall be a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
The Officers and three elected members shall constitute a Board of Directors,
of which the President shall be chairman. Four members present of the Board of
Directors shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business.
ARTICLE VI DUES
The dues of the club shall be $15.00 per person the first year and $5.00
per person all subsequent years, payable by December 31.
ARTICLE VII AMENDMENTS
The Constitution and the accompanying By-Laws may be
amended by a 2/3 vote of the voting members present at any regular or special
meeting of the club, provided that the text of the amendment shall have been
sent to each member at least 10 days prior to the meeting.
